Responsibilities:
Intern roles and responsibilities
You will be working closely with our Marketing Analytics team by supporting tasks such as research, data clean-up or analysis, and administrative tasks that support the team’s core functions. You may also undertake special projects as needed. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Analytics Intern to assist our marketing team in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting marketing data to support decision-making and improve marketing performance. This internship provides hands-on experience in digital marketing, data analysis, and reporting, and offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about data and marketing, eager to learn, and have a strong desire to contribute to the success of our marketing initiatives. Specifically, you will:
- Data Collection and Organization: Assist in gathering and organizing data from various marketing platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, social media, email campaigns) to track campaign performance and customer behavior.
- Campaign Performance Monitoring: Help track key performance indicators (KPIs) for ongoing marketing campaigns. Assist in updating regular performance reports, highlighting trends and insights.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Support the analysis of marketing data by identifying patterns and trends. Assist in preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings to the marketing team and stakeholders.
- Market Research: Assist in researching competitor activities and industry trends. Use data to help refine marketing strategies.
- Data Visualization: Help create data visualizations (e.g., charts, graphs) to present insights in a clear and understandable format for team members and leadership.
- Support Marketing Projects: Provide analytical support for various marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
Required Field of Study- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Marketing Analytics or Data Science.

- Curiosity and Inquisitiveness
- Ability to use Excel and create pivot tables
- Experience with basic data manipulation and analysis
- Location: We strongly prefer candidates who can commute to Schaumburg, IL for orientation as well as 3-4 in-person meetings throughout the summer. Though you are welcome to work from our offices full-time, there is no requirement to do so. We will consider select remote locations within the U.S., but preference will be given to local candidates.
