Respiratory Care Practitioner
Overview:
JOB SUMMARY
The RCP is responsible for the evaluation, assessment, and administration of all respiratory care modalities ordered at San Antonio. As an essential member of the health care team, they interact with multiple health care disciplines in order to provide the best care possible for the patient.Work with both adult and neonatal patients as an essential member of the care team.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: NICU experience preferred.
Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of ventilator protocols, adult HFOV and APRV ventilator modes. Neonatal (NICU) and PFT require specialized training and competency.
License and Certifications: Licensed by the State of California as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP). Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR card. If a Neonatal RCP: Current Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP).
Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.
PAY RANGE
$34.74 - $52.12

Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
