We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant based in Charleston, South Carolina, within the Manufacturing industry. The selected candidate will be entrusted with the task of managing various aspects of our accounting operations, from manufacturing finance reporting to general ledger maintenance.

• Oversee the process of manufacturing finance reporting.
• Conduct margin, financial, and variance analysis.
• Lead the execution of the month-end close procedure.
• Ensure the accuracy of inventory reports and address any discrepancies.
• Handle the maintenance of the General Ledger.
• Update product costs as required.
• Carry out bank reconciliations.
• Take charge of treasury management reporting.
• Oversee the monthly close process, which includes creating journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Oracle software.
• Have a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Exhibit excellent skills in financial reporting and analysis.
• Be familiar with auditing processes and compliance regulations.
• Show a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
• Be capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Be adept at working in a team as well as independently.
• Display a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Show a willingness to continually update knowledge and skills.
• Have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Possess a strong ethical stance with regard to confidentiality and integrity.
