Full-time role. Individual is accountable for ensuring that all aspects of the IT production environment, processes and resources are ready and capable of supporting the deployment of a release of a discrete project. Manage readiness of multiple projects over extended period of time.Help to define, understand, and articulate to IT management desired service level requirements of projects. Help to define, understand, and articulate to Group and CE Program project members IT Operations capabilities and capacity to fulfill those service level agreements.
Serve as the conduit by which IT Operational needs are fully communicated to specific CE project teams and vice-versa. Individual acts as a gatekeeper for deployment of projects.

Where must position focus to be successful?)- Proactively assess readiness of individual projects to be deployed into day-to-day IT Operational management.
- Proactively identify risks of work track decisions as they affect project readiness.
- Ensure performance and capacity analysis for applications and data functions and processes has been adequately prepared
- Coordinate cross-project solutions for problem management, escalation and help desk procedures to support systems and end users
- Ensure monitoring and management processes/procedures to support applications and data (e.g., fault, event, and performance management) are in place
- Ensure production contingency and disaster recovery plans are comprehensive and for all projects being deployed within the program

Competencies/Skills: Experience operation architect with project and management experience
Knowledge: Infrastructure design, systems administration, database administration, hardware sizing, network design, disaster recovery planning, business continuity planning, systems monitoring and metrics, creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), definition of Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Education and Experience: (Identify types and length of education and experience needed to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to accomplish the desired end results.)
Education: Masters in Computer Science / Information Management preferred
Experience: 10+ years working with System operations (data center, hardware sizing, disaster recovery, system administration). Candidate should have experience with both modern (open) systems and mainframe environments; preferably design, development and management aspects.
