Senior Business Analyst
Overview:
Nakupuna Federal is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team of talented consultants providing support to Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP)’s Business Systems Center (BSC) to include Organizational Strategic Assessment; Lean IT Portfolio Management, Analysis, Reengineering and Optimization; IT Delivery Model Optimization; Organizational Change Management (OCM) and Risk Analysis and Support Services in support of Navy, DOD, and multi-national logistics and readiness applications and processes.
Responsibilities:

- Integrate in team environment researching, data gathering, reporting/briefing, developing strategies.
- Coordinate and assist with preparation and submission of contract deliverables.
- Conduct project planning and develop/maintain execution schedule.
- Define processes and procedures governing effective/efficient project execution.
- Develop reporting formats for tracking project progress (e.g., actual vs. planned completions, rework statistics, productivity rates, etc.) and ensure timely submission of completed reports at client specified frequency.
- Keep Nakupuna leadership abreast of project execution, and any issues (e.g., production, equipment/facilities, manpower, etc.) of potential impact to achievement of client requirements/deliverables or requirements exceeding defined scope of work.
- Resolving issues that arise during development.
Qualifications:
Skills/Qualifications: The ideal candidate ideally possesses expertise and experience Lean IT Portfolio Management, IT Governance, and data analytics. Specifically, the ideal candidate will be familiar with and have experience with the following technical knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Experience developing an Organizational Strategic Assessment and Prioritization.
- Knowledge and ability to align the Future-State of an Enterprise IT with leadership vision.
- Ability to develop a model for IT delivery that supports the capability needs of the future.
- Preferred: Knowledge of management and operations of NAVSUP Enterprise IT.
- Experience performing complex evaluations of existing procedures, processes, communication techniques, models, and/or systems related to management problems is desirable.
- Experience using advanced features of Microsoft PowerPoint (experience with Microsoft SharePoint is desired, experience with data analytics tools preferred.
Experience: At least five (5) years of experience as an analyst of which at least 3 years must be specialized in an IT program management, technical, or business analysis discipline.
Education: BS or BA degree are required. An AS or AA degree and an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS or an additional eight (8) years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS.
Location: Mechanicsburg, PA onsite preferred; remote applicants will have periodic travel.Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
