Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Outpatient, Flexible Sched.
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides psychiatric services to patients in the IOP (intensive outpatient program) and the PHP (partial hospitalization program) program for substance use disorders. Candidate could also work in the outpatient clinic if desired.
The psychiatric APRN provides evaluation and treatment for assigned patients providing a range of psychosocial care. Perform clinical assessments and evaluations. Plan, implement and revise treatment in consultation with multidisciplinary teams and with community agencies as appropriate.Provides specialty clinical consultation to primary care providers, community agencies, and families regarding individual patients and in collaboration with primary care teams.
Assess patients and prescribes medications according to established practice guidelines. Demonstrated expertise in a variety of clinical modalities. Completes patient chart documentation as required by all pertinent governing bodies in a timely manner.The Nurse Practitioner will be a key member of our multidisciplinary team, working with senior psychiatrists who also provide outstanding supervision.
