AP Accountant - Part Time - Robert Half

Robert Half is partnering with a well-established, local organization, looking for a part-time AP Accountant to join the team on a contract basis. In this role, your primary responsibility will be ensuring that company's bills and invoices are paid on time, maintaining accurate records, and providing financial and administrative support to the Finance Department.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable including invoice processing, payment processing and implementation of internal controls
• Reconcile vendor accounts and statements, resolving any discrepancies or errors
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files and secure vendor approval forms, contracts, and agreements
• Assist in monthly closings, prepare analyses of accounts
• Support the preparation of accruals and journal entries, as needed
• Responsible for maintaining AP aging reports and provide cash flow management support
• Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations
• Perform ad hoc projects and reporting as requested
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar accounting software is beneficial
• BS Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or similar is preferred
