Accounting Assistant

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our finance team in Doral. You must be driven, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and results-oriented environment.

Overview of duties:

• Processing accounts payable and receivable, managing invoices and tax payments.
• Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
• Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
• Support monthly payroll and keep organized records.
• Assist with internal and external auditing procedures.
• Resolve accounts to the general ledger.
• Contact clients and suppliers over phone, email or personally.
• Minimum of Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
• Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
• Knowledge of relevant computer applications including MS Excel.
• Accuracy and attention to details.
• Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks.
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
• Proven organizational skills.
• Ability to work well with a team and independently, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills
• Bilingual; english and spanish
