We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist in Englewood, Colorado. The role primarily involves comprehensive administration of benefits and payroll systems, acting as a key resource for employees seeking HR-related information and maintaining an accurate HR database.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive management of benefits and payroll systems regularly, which includes managing open enrollment, tracking qualifying events, and facilitating new employee onboarding.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees requiring benefits and HR-related information, enhancing their understanding and appreciation of their respective benefits.
  • Support during annual benefits open enrollment periods.
  • Conduct regular audits of various benefits, HR and insurance systems to identify and rectify any discrepancies.
  • Enter data into the HR database to ensure accurate management of information.
  • Coordinate employee leaves of different types such as FMLA, ADA, STD, CO PFML, involving interaction with employees, supervisors, HR Business Partners, and the absence management vendor.
  • Present clear and comprehensive explanations of employee benefits.
  • Prepare and present periodic analytic reports related to benefits for the management as needed.
  • Prepare benefit invoices for management's approval, maintain and update the benefits procedures document.
  • Deliver excellent customer support to internal and external customers.
  • Manage the overflow of questions in the Benefits email inbox ensuring timely responses or forwarding them to the appropriate party.
  • Support the team by acting as back-up to the Benefits Manager, HR management staff, and HR Business Partners when necessary.
  • Participate in special projects or other assignments as the business requires.
This position is hybrid and is WFH 2 Days per week, with one 3rd pay per week per month.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role as a Compensation & Benefits Specialist
  • Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
  • Demonstrable experience with CRM systems
  • Strong understanding and experience in Benefit Functions
  • Proven track record in Claim Administration
  • Experience in Cobra Administration
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience in managing Leave of Absence processes and policies
