Staff Accountant

Robert Half's stationary client is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their team. This role will play a key part in day-to-day accounting operations and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.

About the Role:

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including but not limited to:

• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Reconciling bank accounts and credit card statements.
• Preparing and posting journal entries.
• Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Maintaining accurate and organized financial records.
• Performing account analysis and reconciliations.
• Assisting with audits and tax preparations.
• Supporting the Controller and other team members with various accounting projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• [Number] years of experience in accounting, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Proficiency in NetSuite
