Job Description
The Maintenance Technician ensures the maintenance operations are done to the standards of 23rd Avenue Properties, LLC. You will be responsible for completing all maintenance requests and turnover at 4 properties. You will also be responsible for other duties directed to you by the property managers to make sure that the properties are running in optimal conditions to maximize resident retention.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Proficiency in all the following areas desirable: apartment maintenance, light plumbing and electric, painting, drywall, carpentry, locks and appliances.
Compliant with all OSHA laws and regulations
Maintain a professional, courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors and fellow employees at all times.
Ability to effectively present information and communicate verbally and in
writing.
Collaborates with property manager to ensure that maintenance of thebuilding and apartment units are to company standards.
Must clear background check.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Experience: 4+ years related experience in apartment maintenance and unit turnover is a must and experience with vintage properties is a plus.
Experience with Appfolio is a plus.
Must be proficient in all areas of apartment maintenance to includelight plumbing and electric, painting, drywall, carpentry, locks, appliances and unit turnovers.
Valid state issued drivers’ license.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Must have your own tools and vehicle. (mileage will be reimbursed)COMPENSATION: $34-36 per hour with benefits, paid holidays, and paid vacations
