Associate Attorney
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience with Conservatorships, can work autonomously, and is seeking an integral role with opportunities to grow with the firm.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Communicate with clients to identify legal needs and concerns
- Independently manage Conservatorship matters from start to finish, including preparing Petitions and making court appearances
- Advise clients on issues regarding Conservatorships and Public Benefits Planning
- Draft comprehensive estate plans, including Revocable Living Trusts, Special Needs Trusts, Wills, Durable Powers of Attorney, Health Care Directives, and property transfer documents
- Participate in business social activities and presentations that generate new clients and professional relationships
- Perform administrative functions related to case management
- Demonstrated client relationship skills including the ability to lead in-person client meetings
- Ability to conduct legal research, analyze case law, and stay up-to-date with changing laws
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Typing proficiency of 50+ wpm
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong work ethic

- Experience with Conservatorships, Estate Planning, Trust Administration, Probate, Special Needs Trusts, and Public Benefits Planning
- Experience with AbacusLaw software
- Experience with Lawgic software
