Accounting Manager

The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing the close process, internal controls, and audit responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of four, overseeing their performance and providing guidance as necessary
• Review and manage the close process, ensuring all deadlines are met and all data is accurate
• Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with industry standards
• Act as the primary point of contact for audit responsibilities, liaising with external auditors as necessary
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools to manage and organize financial data
• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, ensuring all transactions are processed efficiently
• Conduct regular auditing to ensure accuracy and adherence to financial regulations
• Manage billing functions, ensuring all invoices are sent and paid in a timely manner
• Oversee the Month End Close process, ensuring all financial reports are prepared and submitted on time
• Maintain the General Ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze financial data, and to prepare reports
• Ensure all financial operations align with internal control protocols.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Proficiency in executing Accounting Functions
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Knowledge of Auditing procedures and practices
• Ability to perform Billing Functions effectively
• Experience in Month End Close activities
• Familiarity with General Ledger operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Internal Control mechanisms in accounting
