Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist

We are offering a part-time (24 hrs/week) contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Seattle, Washington. The role involves handling various accounting functions within the logistics industry. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing invoices and utilizing accounting software systems to maintain precise records.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake the accurate entry of invoices
• Employ accounting software systems
• Handle the coding of accounting functions and maintain precise records.
• Process and monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as required.
• Resolve customer inquiries related to accounts payable.
• Proficiency in Account Coding and Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and best practices
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive financial information
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Detail-oriented with high levels of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Prior experience in a similar role preferred.
