Chemist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Analytical Chemist to join our Analysis Americas team for a 6-month contract. Our goal is to provide the best information within a short time to our customers in response to their characterization needs.
The team operates regionally supporting all aspects of the business. The successful candidate will have expertise in a variety of wet chemistry techniques and ideally, experience with ICP-OES. You will be an integral part of our larger analytical team, contributing to accurate data collection and analysis while maintaining a well-organized and clean laboratory environment.
Strong communication skills and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.

responsibilities:
- Perform qualitative and quantitative wet chemistry analyses on a wide variety of products to meet the characterization needs of multiple customers.
- Supply timely, insightful analytical reports from analytical data to internal customers.
- Utilize ICP-OES (Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy) for elemental analysis.
Required:
- B.S. or M.S. in chemistry with a minimum of 5 years experience
- Experience with titrations, moisture, flash point, viscosity and density determinations
- Familiarity with ICP-OES is a bonus
