Security Clearance Requirements:
This position requires all candidates to be U.S. Citizens and possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze user requirements and derive software design and performance needs.
- Debug and correct software defects.
- Recommend improvements for documentation and development standards.
- Design, code, and modify software to add features.
- Integrate software into new or modified systems.
- Develop data queries for datasets or repositories.
- Write and review software and system documentation.
- Lead software development teams as needed.
- Design and implement complex database interfaces and queries.
- Develop algorithms to meet performance standards.
- Assist with testing software components.
- Modify software to correct errors and improve performance.
- Use scientific analysis to design and predict software outcomes.
- Perform quality control on team products.
- Oversee software development teams and ensure project constraints are met.
- Coordinate software installation and monitor equipment functioning.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Four (4) years of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Fourteen (14) years experience as a SWE is required.
- Very strong programming skills preferably in C++
- Must be willing to become a C++ Win32 expert
Skills & Abilities:
- Developing applications using specified programming language per the development requirements.
- Development for Windows or UNIX applications using general purpose languages (e.g., C, C++, C#, Java, and Python).
- Experience with DevOps building and deploying technologies (e.g., Artifactory, Dockery, Terraform, Ansible, Packer).
- Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Development (CI/CD) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins and Bamboo), and building automated CI/CD pipelines.
