Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Oncology to join our team. The RN will be responsible for assessing patients, assisting physicians with care, and implementing individualized care plans. This role involves providing therapeutic nursing interventions and managing patient care in alignment with evidence-based practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
• Assess patient conditions and determine priorities for care through evaluation and planning.
• Develop and coordinate individualized care plans through ongoing assessments.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care.
• Document care based on established standards and patient acuity.
• Advocate for and support evidence-based practice care standards.
• Provide patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing models.
• Carry out other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in acute adult oncology or medical-surgical nursing.

Education Requirements:

• Required: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Certifications & Licensure:

• Required:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA.
• NJ State Registered Nurse License or multi-state compact license.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Preferred:
• Telemetry certification.
• Chemotherapy certification through ONS (Oncology Nursing Society).

Work Schedule:

• Full-time, 36 hours per week (3x12-hour shifts).
• Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM.
• Every other weekend required.
• Holidays required; no on-call duties.

Languages: English (Speak, Read, Write)

This is a 13-week assignment, ideal for an experienced RN seeking to advance their career in oncology nursing.
