Dispatcher

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Dispatcher in the Construction/Contractor industry. Based in Toledo, Ohio, you will be playing a pivotal role in coordinating with commercial clients and field technicians to ensure timely and efficient service.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the dispatch of field technicians for service assignments
• Effectively communicate with commercial clients to understand their service needs
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for reporting and record keeping
• Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment to ensure efficiency
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as required
• Ensure all customer credit applications are processed accurately
• Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records
• Use your multitasking skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Provide a high level of customer service at all times • Minimum of one year experience in a dispatching role within the construction or contractor industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with dispatching software and tools would be advantageous
• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is required
• Knowledge of construction industry terminology and procedures is preferred
• Physical ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Willingness to work in shifts, during weekends or holidays if required
• Must be legally eligible to work in the specified location.
