We are a reputable law firm specializing in government-related legal services. We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our dedicated team.

Responsibilities:

1. Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of our firm's 100-200 incoming invoices on a daily basis and ensure they are paid timely.
2. Managing a high volume of escrow accounts with counties and ensuring that clients are billed appropriately for services provided.
3. Regularly updating, managing, and maintaining two sets of financial books – an operating side and accounts payable(accounts receivable) for partners.
4. Distributing income to partners on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
5. Performing cost allocation analysis to ensure fair distribution of financial resources.
6. Maintaining accurate records in QuickBooks software.
7. Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar position.
8. Proficiency in using QuickBooks and MS Excel, including pivot tables and V-lookups is a plus.
9. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in entering financial information.
10. Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
11. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
