We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in ROCKVILLE, Maryland. The responsibilities of this role will encompass auditing, maintaining accounting functions, and processing Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately processing customer credit applications
- Maintaining precise records of customer credit
- Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Monitoring and managing customer accounts
- Utilizing and managing Accounting Software Systems effectively
- Performing Account Coding as required
- Employing ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient business process management
- Managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accrual Accounting
- Conducting regular Auditing to ensure financial compliance
- Processing Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions
- Working with 'Costpoint' for project accounting.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in an Accounts Payable and Costpoint is required.
