Cloud Platform Engineer
POSITION TITLE: Cloud Platform Engineer(s).
POSITION DUTIES: Responsible for performing cloud onboarding activities, cloud environment provisioning tasks, and providing technical support and expert advice throughout all onboarding stages of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) activities.Collaborate with team to enable continuous knowledge sharing and improve service delivery. Work with the Cloud Platform Lead to plan and groom the SRE roadmap, ensure delivery of the SRE program against program objectives and goals, and integrate, install, configure, test and support platform features and services.
Enforce compliance of technical solutions to Temenos policies, standard and SaaS service expectations. Provide senior level expertise on full stack SaaS and cloud architecture for Temenos Products. Work with the Team Lead to ensure proper planning of onboarding activities of various cloud onboarding projects.
Collaborate with product, platform, and security teams to align the technical architecture and security with the platform feature design and business goals, monitor and track deliverables. Track industry trends and maintain knowledge of new technologies, advising the leadership of opportunities to improve quality, reduce costs and/or create competitive advantages.
Review, advise, and design standard software builds and application deployments. Facilitate the establishment and implementation of standards, policies, and procedures that guide the design of reliable, scalable, secure technology with auditable process integrity.
May require travel/telecommute.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology Management, a relevant Engineering field, or a closely related technical field.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 60 months progressive post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered, DevOps Engineer, Systems Engineer, or related technical occupation.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Experience must include utilizing: 1) AWS services, 2) Jenkins 3) JFrog Artifactory, 4) Docker, 5) GitLab, 6) Bitbucket, and 7) Ansible.
