Matter Intake Coordinator (Remote)

Overview:

The Woodbury, Long Island office of Kaufman Dolowich, an AV-rated® firm designated one of the “Best Companies to Work For”, is seeking candidates to join our growing, dynamic firm with more than 200 attorneys nationwide. The Matter Intake Coordinator will assist our team with:

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Quality control and creation of new client/matter intake in firm financial system and document management system
• Handle matter changes which include but are not limited to updating contacts, claim information, deductible, matter contacts, matter names, rates, etc.
• Reconciliation of new matters created in eBilling software on a routine basis
• Upload carrier guidelines to firm internal intranet
• Ad hoc reporting as requsted
• Assists with special projects as needed
• Assist with other duties to support department needs

Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable interacting with firm colleagues at all levels
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task
• Law firm experience is a must.

The total annual compensation for this position is $45,000 - $55,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
