Maxor National Pharmacy Services is seeking a kind, patient and caring Per Diem (PRN) Staff Pharmacist for our Community Health Centers Pharmacy in Burlington, VT. We are looking for a Pharmacist to join our dedicated team of pharmacy professionals at this clinic-based, in house pharmacy.Prior retail pharmacy experience is required, as well as the ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment. This pharmacy is managed by Maxor National Pharmacy Services, LLC

Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in providing effective, appropriate, and safe pharmacy services.
- Greet customers and take prescription orders
- Convey empathy and understanding when handling customer service issues.
- Operate the cash register by ringing up sales for customers
- Assist in keeping the pharmacy clean and the shelves stocked
- Answer the phone
- Input customer information into the computer system
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree, or Pharm. D, from an approved school of pharmacy
- Current/Clear VT Pharmacist licensure required.
Experience:
- One-year experience as a practicing pharmacist is preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of drugs and their indications, contraindications, dosing, side effects, and proper administration.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
- Knowledge of polices and regulations pertaining to the disbursement of pharmaceutical drugs.
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
- Ability to supervise and train assigned staff.
- Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements (if applicable).
- Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
- Ability to assume essential responsibilities and duties in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager
