We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team and be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of 480V 3-phase electrical systems and associated equipment, including production machines, packaging machines, motors, and conveyor systems. In this role, you will troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure optimal performance of automation systems to minimize downtime and improve overall operational efficiency. Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair 480V 3-phase electrical systems and equipment, including production machines, packaging machines, motors, and conveyor belts.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical components and systems, including PLCs, sensors, control panels, and other electrical components.
- Perform maintenance and upgrades on automation systems, ensuring systems are functioning optimally and downtime is minimized.
- Utilize diagnostic tools, including a multimeter, to troubleshoot electrical issues in machines, motors, sensors, and control systems.
- Interpret and work with electrical schematics, technical diagrams, and PLC programming to ensure proper system installation and functionality.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections on all electrical systems and equipment to proactively avoid unplanned downtime and enhance safety.
- Respond to and resolve electrical issues promptly, minimizing production delays and ensuring consistent operations.
- Collaborate with production teams and other departments to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective electrical solutions.
