Software Engineer (PHP Laravel, JavaScript/Vue.js) – Contract-to-Hire

Position Overview:

This position follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring on-site presence as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP Laravel on the backend and Vue.js (or similar JavaScript frameworks) on the frontend.
• Build and optimize APIs and database queries for high-performance applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions.
• Maintain and enhance existing codebases, ensuring best practices for code quality, security, and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring system reliability and responsiveness.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes in an Agile environment.
• Work with DevOps and cloud services to support scalable deployments (experience with AWS preferred).

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in software development, with strong proficiency in PHP Laravel.
• Experience developing dynamic front-end applications using JavaScript (Vue.js preferred, React or Angular acceptable).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, database design (MySQL/PostgreSQL), and query optimization.
• Experience with modern development tools such as Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and DevOps best practices is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to software development.
