We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Sales Assistant in Allegan, Michigan. You will partake in a diverse range of duties within the team, from sourcing new sales opportunities to maintaining customer relationships. Your role will be integral in the promotion and sales of our products, and your ability to manage customer inquiries and maintain accurate records will be crucial.

Responsibilities:
- Identify potential sales opportunities through various channels such as company-provided leads, CRM Data Base, and CMD/Dodge project leads.
- Maintain and update the CRM Data Base on a daily basis to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Understand and anticipate customer needs, providing them with relevant product information.
- Engage in consistent communication with customers, informing them about unit prices, shipping dates, anticipated delays, and any additional information they might need.
- Act as a representative of the company in resolving customer issues or complaints, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to achieving sales targets and enhancing the company's reputation.
- Conduct virtual AIA continuing education lunch in learn meetings as required.
- Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to closing the sale.
- Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest to expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory.
- Utilize your knowledge and experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP, to facilitate sales processes.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services
- Experience with Concur software
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Ability to generate and interpret Crystal Reports
- Experience in Data Processing
- Knowledge of 'About Time' software
- Ability to manage Answering Inbound Calls efficiently
- Understanding of Buying Processes
- Experience in Cash Activity and Cash Handling
- Proven track record in Business sales and Equipment sales
- Demonstrable ability to Increase Sales
- Experience in Inside Sales
- Proficiency in KPI Reporting
