Llitigation Secretary

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle high-volume filing and preparation of Table of Contents (TOCs) and Table of Authorities (TOAs). The firm’s resource center manages word processing tasks.
• Provide comprehensive legal support to two partners and two associates (one specializing in real estate and one in automotive). Training available for automotive sector.
• Assist associates with complex litigation, Prop 65, and labor/employment law matters.
• Review and verify proofs of service.
• Coordinate with superior courts and vendors and manage federal court filings.
• Support intellectual property (IP) attorneys as they onboard.
• Handle overflow work, including overtime, when required.
• Immediate availability required.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Litigation Secretary, ideally within high-volume litigation environments.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state court filings.
• Experience with complex litigation is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with legal software and tools.
