Accounts Payable Clerk

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team based in SAN FRANCISCO, California. In this role, you will be involved in a variety of tasks related to account payable functions and customer service within our organization.

• Review and process expenses and invoices from various departments ensuring they are correctly coded and have the appropriate signatures and attachments.
• Conduct routine check runs and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
• Efficiently manage customer credit applications and ensure all information is processed accurately.
• Keep a meticulous record of customer credit information and monitor customer accounts regularly.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
• Utilize your skills in Microsoft Excel and Sage Intacct to perform data entry tasks and maintain customer records.
• Ensure all ACH payments and bank deposits are posted accurately and timely.
• Conduct regular reviews of the checking account, while ensuring access is view only.
• Understand the operations of the bargaining unit and perform duties accordingly.
• Ensure all responsibilities are met on a daily and weekly basis. • Minimum of 1 year experience in Accounts Payable (AP) or related role
• Proficiency in check runs and coding invoices
• Demonstrated data entry skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Sage Intacct software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
