Our West Hollywood client, in the advertising industry, is seeking a Leasing Assistant to join their team. In this role, you will be required to coordinate ground lease transactions, investigate and resolve lessor inquiries, and communicate with existing and potential lessors.

This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all ground lease transactions to maintain efficiency in operations.
  • Research new locations and opportunities to expand business operations.
  • Investigate and promptly resolve Lessor inquiries and complaints to maintain satisfactory relationships.
  • Research and document potential upgrades to properties for continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with the maintenance department to ensure all work order and repair requests are processed and completed in a timely manner.
  • Draft leases and lease amendments with attention to detail and legal requirements.
  • Track and respond to rent payment requests promptly and accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with existing lessors and potential lessors to foster strong relationships.
  • Research prior lease transactions for reference and record-keeping purposes.
  • Coordinate with management regarding potential legal claims to ensure compliance with legal standards.
  • Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in a leasing or related role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
  • Ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls professionally
  • Excellent customer service skills with a customer-first attitude
  • Demonstrated ability in data entry with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience in answering inbound calls in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written communication skills, particularly in email correspondence
  • Ability to schedule appointments efficiently and effectively
  • Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with various departments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
