Accounts Payable Clerk - Westbury

We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in WESTBURY, New York. In this role, you will be involved in the processing and management of accounts payable, as well as maintaining meticulous financial records. This role is particularly suited to individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of the financial industry.

• Efficiently handle inquiries related to accounts from both internal and external parties.
• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices.
• Carry out monthly reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts.
• Administer vendor payments in compliance with company policies.
• Maintain a record of all payments and expenditures.
• Work collaboratively with other teams to verify the accuracy of all financial transactions.
• Utilize accounting software and other programs to manage accounts payable.
• Perform additional duties as needed. • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role.
• Proficient in Account Reconciliation, ensuring all accounts are accurately maintained.
• Demonstrable experience with Accounts Payable (AP), specifically in managing and organizing AP duties.
• Experience in Check Runs, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.
• Ability to efficiently code invoices, categorizing costs correctly.
• Excellent Data Entry skills, ensuring accurate and efficient input of information.
• Experience in Invoice Processing, with an ability to handle high volumes of invoices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with ability to use advanced functions.
• Knowledge of Oracle, specifically in relation to accounts payable functionalities.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks, and ability to navigate and use the software efficiently.
• Experience with SAP, particularly within the financial and accounting modules.
