Join our dynamic team as the Environmental Services Office Coordinator! You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our housekeeping division. Acting as the department's first point of contact, you'll manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate resources.

Additionally, you'll maintain supplies and organize records and filing to keep our department running efficiently. At FirstHealth, we are dedicated to caring for people, and your role will be essential in upholding this mission.

Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Frontline Support: Be the welcoming face and voice of our Environmental Services department, handling incoming calls and determining caller needs for appropriate referrals.
  • Administrative Excellence: Craft and type routine letters and memos, manage departmental supplies (including staff uniforms), and ensure everything is in tip-top shape.
  • Record Management Guru: Keep our records organized and easily accessible, always maintaining confidentiality.
  • EPIC Navigator: Use EPIC, our electronic health record (EHR) system, to check patient discharges and allocate housekeeping resources for optimal cleanliness.
  • Interview Scheduler: Coordinate interviews with candidates through iCIMS Applicant Tracking System, helping us coordinate as we search for the best talent.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school graduate required; a degree or certification in office management or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft applications is a must.
  • Skills:
  • Communication Pro: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to connect with vendors, staff, and colleagues.
  • Organization Whiz: Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • People Person: Build and maintain positive relationships with everyone you interact with.

  • Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in every task you undertake.
