Project Details:Role:Data Analyst (Senior)Location:Offsite / Washington DCDuration:6+ months/longtermType:Contract/W2Interview Criteria: Telephonic + Skype Job Description: Role Location Job Description Job Description Qualifications Data Analyst (Senior) Offsite / Washington DC 1) The Data Analyst shall be responsible for supporting the enablement of data within ITA by providing meaningful business value through easy-to-comprehend data visualizations, enabling others to perform self-service analytics, and deploying and configuring solutions for consumption.2) The Data Analyst must be proficient in using Power Query and writing expressions by using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), collaborating with enterprise data analysts and data engineers to identify and acquire data, understanding row-level data security and data sensitivity, and using Power BI to transform data, create data models, visualize data, and share data assets.3) The Data Analyst shall present emerging data analytics topics of interest to the agency's Data Practitioners Community of Practice, develop high value training representing specific agency use cases, provide coaching to Power BI users thru troubleshooting and/or guidance on their data visualizations, serve as the Power BI expert at bi-monthly Open Office sessions, and support agency in increasing data acumen to drive maturity in leveraging data as an asset.
