We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate therapist to join our outpatient team at Glenwood Behavioral Health. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality care to individuals and families dealing with emotional and behavioral disorders.The therapist will be instrumental in creating a supportive and therapeutic environment to foster healing and growth.
Salary Range: $60,000-70,000
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and track attainment of IOP or PHP goals and objectives.
- Lead psycho-educational, family therapy and process groups.
- Provide initial treatment planning for clients, based on assessment and coordinates any additional services needed and revises as necessary.
- Perform clinical assessment of individuals referred to the program.
- Coordinate inpatient referrals with appropriate hospital staff and assess patients on inpatient units for referral to the IOP/PHP as requested by the treatment team.
- May perform case management, discharge or after care planning as needed.
- Apply psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions in the delivery of services to individuals and families for the purpose of treating such diagnosed emotional and behavioral disorders
- · Maintain documentation of therapy services provided to each patient according to facility and professional standards and revising as indicated by facility or professional standard.
- · Maintain a caseload as assigned.
- · Participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate with other staff to facilitate services for the patient, as appropriate to their treatment plan.
- · Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
- Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Human Services field required.
- One or more years’ experience working in an intensive outpatient program or a partial hospitalization program
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
- LSW, or LPC, or LISW, or LPCC required
