We are seeking a Desktop Support Analyst based in Woodbridge, New Jersey. This role focuses on offering technical support to computers both remotely and on-site, covering areas such as troubleshooting computer hardware, peripherals, and software applications.

This role falls under a contract to hire employment opportunity and is ideal for individuals skilled in Citrix Technologies, Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems, Mac Computers, Microsoft, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deployments, Deskside Support, Windows 11, MS Windows 10, Windows Server 2019, PowerShell Scripting, and Python Scripting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Information Technology (IT) helpdesk tier-2 & 3 support to ensure that all reported IT incidents and requests are effectively and efficiently addressed and documented.
  • Utilize administration knowledge of Windows 10/11, Server 2019 or newer.
  • Write Windows batch, PowerShell, or Python scripts.
  • Help deploy and maintain infrastructure, including IT resources in faculty and staff offices, general use computer labs, and public areas.
  • Assist with the evaluation, acquisition, configuration, testing, and implementation of new IT equipment, software, and technology deployments.
  • Perform demonstrations of technology solutions to Staff.
  • Contribute feedback to improve IT service and support practices, procedures, and user instructional materials to improve the resolution of IT support issues.
  • Offer general hardware support for Desktop/Laptop, Mobile Device.
  • Utilize ServiceNow, ITSM, or other major ticketing system experience.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Desktop Support Analyst role or similar IT support role
  • Proficiency with Citrix Technologies and Dell Technologies
  • Experience with EO/IR systems
  • Knowledge and experience of working with Mac Computers and Microsoft products
  • Proficiency with Active Directory and Computer Hardware
  • Experience with Configuration Management and Deployments
  • Demonstrated ability in Deskside Support
  • Familiarity with Windows 11, MS Windows 10, and Windows Server 2019
  • Experience with PowerShell Scripting and Python Scripting
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
