Shift Supervisor Sgt
Summary**
Chenega Global Protection, LLC is looking to fill openings for Shift Supervisor Sergeants for a government customer. The Sergeant will provide oversight and leadership to the Armed Guard workforce.
**Responsibilities**
+ Will conduct personnel, vehicular, building, & facility checks and package & parcel inspection.
+ Stand post at the entry/exit points to verify all persons' identification and conduct inquiries and surveillance of suspicious items, packages, vehicles, and persons.
+ Alert the Control Center, Roving Patrol, and Shift Supervisor of any unauthorized vehicular ingress, any reports of fire and medical emergencies and the locations of these incidents.
+ Monitor the Physical Access Control System (PACS) for open door alerts or other PACS operating conditions.
+ Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
+ Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
+ Must be at least 21 years of age.
+ Demonstrated capability to perform leadership functions.
+ Possess significant background, either through experience and/or education, in basic security guard procedures including supervision policies and procedures.
+ Possess experience in making decisions affecting security personnel in accordance with policies & procedures.
+ Must possess and maintain a valid State Driver’s License.
+ Must speak, read, write, and understand the English language, apply written rules, detailed orders, instructions and training material.
+ Be able to meet any Federal, State, or Municipal requirements to work as an Armed Security Guard.
+ Have no record or history of illegal drug use, sale, possession, or manufacture during the previous five years.
+ Have no felony convictions and no convictions that reflect on the individual’s reliability including those crimes classified under the Lautenberg Act.
