About Our Client

Our client is a leading general contractor and development firm based in Buffalo, New York, specializing in residential projects. With a strong track record of successful developments and a commitment to quality craftsmanship, we are looking to add an experienced Residential Project Manager to our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the city's residential landscape while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Job Description
  • Lead and manage multiple civil and commercial construction projects from start to finish.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Manage project budgets and track expenses to ensure the project stays within financial constraints.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and vendors, ensuring quality work and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates on progress and addressing any concerns or changes.
  • Review and approve project designs, plans, and permits to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
  • Resolve any issues that may arise during construction, providing timely solutions.
  • Ensure all safety standards and regulations are strictly followed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

The Successful Applicant
  • 5+ years of experience in civil construction project management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing residential projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • LEED accreditation or similar certifications are a plus.
