Our client based in North County, San Diego is looking to hire a skilled Staff Accountant to be a part of their dynamic team. The successful candidate will prepare financial reports to track the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing financial statements and reporting as per the organization’s set schedule.
- Performing general cost accounting and other related duties.
- Directing internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
- Conducting monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
- Proven work experience as a Staff Accountant.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles.
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite and accounting software, preferably QuickBooks.
