Service Technician Dispatcher

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Service Technician Dispatcher in the Construction/Contractor industry based in Long Beach, California. The role involves coordinating and scheduling traffic controllers and company vehicles or equipment, working closely with the project management team, and maintaining good relationships between field crew and Operations.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and schedule Traffic Controllers and relevant company resources for job sites.
• Collaborate closely with the project management team to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage after-hours calls during the week as per schedule.
• Maintain a tracking system for documenting dispatch efforts, specifically related to Traffic Controller response records.
• Understand and work with Traffic Control plans to comprehend the field resources required for the job.
• Monitor employee time off and arrange coverage to ensure proper job implementation.
• Report any employee problems or concerns that may affect field operations to the Dispatch Supervisor.
• Document findings on the Daily On Job On Time Report and share them with the Dispatch Supervisor and Operations.
• Adjust dispatches based on findings to meet operational goals.
• Monitor Branch Cameras for any suspicious activities and report any issues to Operations and Dispatch manager.
