Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive IT Service Desk Technician - Tier 2 to join our Project Management Office (PMO). As a Tier 2 Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting complex issues escalated from Tier 1, assisting with network infrastructure, and working closely with other IT teams to resolve higher-level issues.

The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, networking experience, and the ability to manage multiple technical tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
Advanced Technical Support:
o Act as the escalation point for Tier 1 support, handling more complex issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
o Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving desktops, servers, operating systems, and network connectivity.
o Provide advanced troubleshooting for end-user devices, including performance issues, software conflicts, and security-related problems.
o Assist in diagnosing and resolving issues with enterprise applications and cloud services (e.g., Office 365, VPN, etc.).
Networking Support:
o Troubleshoot and resolve intermediate to advanced network issues, including switch and router configurations, VLANs, and firewall settings.
o Assist in maintaining network infrastructure, ensuring the stability and security of LAN/WAN networks.
o Support network installations, configuration, and monitoring of network performance.

o Collaborate with network administrators on large-scale network issues and projects.

System Administration & Maintenance: o Perform system administration tasks such as server patching, backups, and system health checks.

o Assist in the management of Active Directory, including group policy administration, account management, and security permissions.
o Support deployment, configuration, and monitoring of security software and endpoint protection.
o Assist with system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations for IT infrastructure.
Documentation & Training:
o Create and update technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides, system configurations, and knowledge base articles.
o Provide training and guidance to Tier 1 technicians on handling common issues and improving troubleshooting techniques.

o Communicate clearly with non-technical users, providing them with actionable solutions and best practices.

Project Support: o Assist in IT projects, including system upgrades, rollouts, and network changes.

o Collaborate with IT leadership to ensure alignment of support strategies with business needs and upcoming initiatives.
