Warehouse Lead/Delivery Driver

Shift hours - Tuesday-Friday 8am-5pm and Saturday from 8am-12pm

Thacker operates over 16 distribution centers in over 20 states serving thousands of customers on an annual basis. It’s a great opportunity to come onboard with a growing company who can provide consistent and stable work!

Thacker is currently looking to add a Warehouse Lead/Delivery Driver position. In this position, you will have responsibility of inspecting products prior to shipment, unloading trucks, assisting manager in warehouse duties, keeping a clean environment and being the warehouse leader on some Saturday's

The position is located at our Canton, MS distribution center.

Duties of the position include:

Inspecting outbound products to funeral home using 10-point inspection process.
Repairing any small issues and flaws found in products prior to delivery.
Unloading and receiving inbound shipments on tractor trailers.
Processing all shipping, receiving and return paperwork timely and accurately.
Keeping a clean and organized distribution center facility and vehicle fleet.
Interfacing with the operations, customer service and sales teams in a collaborative manner.
Making customer deliveries at the discretion of the manager

Required Qualifications & Characteristics:

Positive attitude with coworkers
Ability to lift heavy products; over 70 lbs.
Reliable form of transportation to and from work.
Previous experience in operating large vehicles.
Previous training in inspecting and repairing products.
Forward thinking and proactive in nature.
