Customer Service Representative

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Washington, District of Columbia. This role is primarily focused on customer service and administrative tasks within the housing industry. You will be interacting with customers on the housing waitlist, collecting and updating physical documents, managing company databases, and performing clerical admin duties.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers on the housing waitlist, answering their queries and concerns
• Collect physical documents from customers and ensure their secure storage
• Update company databases with accurate customer information
• Carry out data entry tasks using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Perform clerical admin duties such as scanning and filing documents
• Maintain high-quality customer service by resolving customer inquiries promptly
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary
• Process customer applications with attention to detail and efficiency. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Ability to handle high volume inbound calls
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to resolve customer complaints or issues
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Experience in a customer service role is an advantage
