Led by a highly skilled team of anesthesiology and pain management doctors, The Nexus Pain Center is the preeminent pain clinic providing their patients with innovative medical solutions and cutting-edge technologies. The North Columbus Surgery Center offers spinal-focused interventional pain management using the Boston Scientific Spinal Cord Stimulator and Stryker Radiofrequency tools, as well as nonsurgical options for pain and nonopioid medical therapies for those over the age of 18.

MUST have an active CCMA, CMA, CPhT or RMA certification to apply. Passed AAMA, NHA and RMA testing is a MUST.

Pay starts at $15.00/hr ($31,200.00 Annually) for new grads and increases depending on knowledge, skills, experience and fluency with EClinicalWorks charting system.

Seeking a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant to join our team in a Interventional Pain Management Clinic!

Hours 07:30 am-04:00 pm M-F.

Healthcare experience is a plus, but we are willing to train a new graduate as long as they meet all other requirements. Must be able to handle a fast paced work environment.

C-ARM Machine experience highly preferred

Duties include:

  • Referrals to specialist clinics
  • Medication printing and modifications
  • Pulling Charts and completing HPI
  • Vital Signs
  • Ordering Radiographic Imaging
  • Answering phone calls
  • Prior Authorizations for medications
  • New Patients packets data entry
  • Eclinicalworks charting experience is a BIG PLUS
  • Work well with varying providers who each require unique forms and assistance

**Will need to be willing to be cross trained for lab collector, receptionist, and billing roles due to being a start up satellite clinic.**
