Robert Half Marketing & Creative is looking for a product designer for one of our clients in Charlotte, NC!

Job Overview:

As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing user-centric products from concept to final production. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to ensure that our products are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional and aligned with customer needs.

Your creative vision and attention to detail will play a critical role in shaping the user experience and driving the success of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define product design requirements and objectives.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design ideas.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design concepts.
  • Develop and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across all products and platforms.
  • Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders, users, and team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and best practices to continuously improve design processes.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure the feasibility of designs and provide guidance during the development phase.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the overall product strategy and vision.
  • Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, effectively communicating design decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Designer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Experience with prototyping tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
  • Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus but not required.
