What you will do::
- Assist Supply Chain and branch managers in maintaining inventory to support their operations in branch inventory levels for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze inventory and market trends, proactively scheduling replenishment and purchase orders
- Oversee costs and address AP to PO issues
- Prevent excess and obsolete inventory
- Handle data entry and system inquiries
- Ensure timely supplier follow-ups on orders and deliveries
- Meet or exceed Inventory Report metrics with effective management
What you will bring::
- Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma, 3-5 years’ experience in distribution business with 2+ years purchasing experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong customer service and problem resolution skills
- Demonstrated ability to perform and adapt in a changing environment
- Strong self-starting experience and ability to excel in independent work environment
- Ability to travel as necessary for occasional meetings, audits, and cycle counts
