Staff Accountant

You will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations, which are integral to our business in the Medicaid services industry.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the processing of accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Execute bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
• Prepare and record journal entries as part of the financial tracking process.
• Conduct month-end close procedures to finalize financial records for the month.
• Utilize NetSuite and Oracle to manage financial data and transactions.
• Leverage QuickBooks and SAP in the management and processing of financial information.
• Oversee the financial aspects of health home program operations.
• Manage the financial elements of grants, including state and federal funding applications.
• Handle the processing of monthly vouchers to ensure timely and accurate payments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of professional accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite is required.
• Knowledge of Medicaid services and grant management is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
