Here's what a 2's Lead Preschool Teacher's day looks like:

  • Ensure each student's health and safety at all times through close supervision and adherence to our daily protocols
  • Lead preschool and enrichment classes by using our unique, creative and original curriculum to bring learning to life!
  • Support each student in their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth by learning through play in a positive and caring way
  • Engage daily with parents and caregivers, sharing your classroom's day-to-day activities and developmental milestones

Requirements:

This job is for you if:

  • Hold 1-2 years of lead teaching experience in an early childhood classroom or Pre-k, Kindergarten, or grades 1-2
  • Have a Bachelor's Degree in early childhood education or related field with New York State Early Childhood Initial or Permanent Certification in N-6 or B-2 OR
  • Be working toward gaining a Master's Degree in early childhood or child development with New York State Initial or Permanent Early Childhood Certification in N-6 or B-2
  • Are a lifelong learner!

The pay rate for this role is as follows:

$57,000-$62,000 (Based on education and certification status)

Physical Demands:

The role involves standing, walking, sitting, constant movement, and occasional climbing. The ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds is required. Specific sensory abilities include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjustment of focus.
