Position Summary:
Perform a variety of complex compensation functions including but not limited to job analysis, external market and internal pay practice analyses, and pay and compliance audits in order to recruit, retain, and reward team members.
*Must have 3+ years of experience in compensation and pricing to be considered*
*Must have proficiency in PeopleSoft, MS Excel, and MarketPay*
Responsibilities:
- Provides proactive consultation on routine to complex compensation matters ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
- Offers education and guidance to customers as well as other Compensation team members.
- Develops new compensation programs and recommends changes in current programs which reflect Orlando Health compensation strategy.
- Coordinates job description review and revision process.
- Independently conducts market pricing analyses and completes participation in salary surveys. Tracks trends and developments in assigned areas.
- Performs job analysis to include questionnaires, on-site interviews and observations.
- Performs comprehensive base pay analysis, modeling, and costing utilizing advanced technical and analytical skills.
- Provides consultation on out-of-guideline pay actions.
- Recommends approval or denial of special payroll check requests, performing calculations as necessary.
- Assists in administering Orlando Health compensation system to include maintaining the job worth hierarchy, job evaluation process, special pay programs, incentive plans, and merit cycle.
- Create and maintain various corporate and special reports.
- Maintains compensation tables in various HRIS applications.
- Develops and documents procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conducts wage and hour investigations and ensures necessary corrective action is taken. Calculates monies owed including manual overtime computations as required.
- Work with HRIS and IS to ensure that current systems meet compensation needs and are updated to reflect compensation changes and additions. Performs advanced system functionality and data testing.
- Audits and performs problem resolution on a variety of compensation and human resource issues.
- Conducts group or individual training sessions as needed.
- Manages large scale compensation projects from inception to post implementation.
- Participates in development of departmental goals and objectives.
- May be assigned to assist with the following actions for leadership and physicians:
o Serve as a resource regarding executive pay, benefits, and onboarding
o Assist with coordinating the recruitment and onboarding activities
o Provide support for the leadership payroll process
o Support the leadership position management process
o Process human resources related transactions in the HR information system
- Maintains the confidentiality of all Orlando Health information.
- Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
- Participates in working groups, councils and committees.
- Assumes responsibility for ongoing professional development and continuing education.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Three (3) years compensation experience required.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Knowledge of HRIS applications.
