Job Description
Construction Estimator- Prepare detailed cost estimates for ground-up luxury high-rise and condominium projects.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to develop comprehensive cost breakdowns.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and ensure all aspects of the project are covered.
- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and incorporate findings into the estimating process.
- Identify and evaluate potential cost-saving opportunities and alternative construction methods.
- Monitor and update project budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company standards.
- Prepare and present estimates to clients and internal stakeholders, providing clear justifications and supporting data.
- Stay current with industry trends, materials costs, and construction techniques to maintain competitive and accurate estimates.

The Successful Applicant- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Estimator, with a strong focus on luxury high-rise and condominium projects.
- Extensive experience working on ground-up construction projects in the city/Brooklyn preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes specific to high-rise developments.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to produce accurate and comprehensive cost estimates.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture
