Computer Project Manager

We are seeking a Computer Project Manager to join our team in Lawrenceville, Georgia. This role involves overseeing all aspects of IT-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet quality standards. You will be involved in assembling project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, and identifying appropriate resources.
This is a contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating all activities for major IT-related projects, ensuring timely completion and quality assurance
- Assembling project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, and identifying appropriate resources needed
- Developing project plans and prototypes, and working with commercial off-the-shelf solutions involving client/server technology
- Interacting regularly with customers and/or functional group managers, possibly including senior management
- Providing focus to subordinates directed by established policies and procedures, interpreting, implementing and administering these policies
- Performing a full range of managerial duties for employees supervised, including recruitment, performance reviews, counseling, and employee development
- Maintaining good customer relations, explaining technical trade-offs to managers and customers who may not have technical expertise
- Reading, writing, interpreting, and explaining technical and/or complex information, possessing communication skills necessary to effectively motivate, teach, and lead co-workers and staff
- Applying knowledge of statistics, SQL, programming, and application development, preferably using World Wide Web technology to build web-based applications that combine databases and web front-ends
- Conducting quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of project outcomes.
- Proven experience in Computer Project Management
- Extensive knowledge of Database Development and SQL
- Proficiency in Programming and Web App development
- Familiarity with Project Management methodologies
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Strong leadership and supervisory abilities
- Ability to conduct and perform Ad Hoc Financial analysis
- Experience with Quality Assurance procedures
- Knowledge of Human Resources (HR) Administration
- Understanding of HIPAA-Regulated environments
- Ability to serve as a liaison between different teams or departments
- Experience with 'About Time' software
- Proficiency in policy and procedure enforcement and development
- Ability to provide training to team members
- Knowledge of application development and prototyping
- Familiarity with statistical analysis
- Must be able to legally work in the United States
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is required.
