Senior Staff Accountant

We are offering a temp to hire opportunity for a Senior Staff Accountant in San Ramon, California. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a range of accounting functions and financial activities for our organization. You will also be expected to maintain accurate financial records, reconcile accounts, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our accounting operations.

Responsibilities:

• Execute full cycle of accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
• Maintain and analyze financial and statistical records; perform needed research and develop complex spreadsheets.
• Carry out daily reconciliation and reporting of bank balances.
• Conduct the monthly accounting close cycle and prepare month-end financial statements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Productions, and the Operations team in evaluating job profitability and conducting other analyses.
• Perform contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers, and office lease.
• Execute state sales and use tax submissions and reporting.
• Participate in special projects and analyses as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Proven experience in Account Reconciliation is required.
• Must possess skills in Balance Sheet Reconciliation.
• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations is essential.
• Demonstrated proficiency in managing General Ledger is needed.
• Must be adept at creating and maintaining Journal Entries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Experience in Month End Close processes is essential.
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks is a must.
